-5 years Later, Two months after Breaker's Tenth birthday-

'It's been 5 years. 5 years ever since he left.'

Breaker was dwindling back on the past 5 years of her life, the worst time a kid like her could go through. Breaker gave a small chuckle.

'I can still remember Mr.Roberson's face on my second day of Kindergarden. Pretty shocked that I went from a sweet innocent little girl to a back-sasser in one night.' She laughed at the mental image she made of her old teacher, especially the time she kicked him in the shin.

'Good times. Good times...' She giggled, placing a few dishes into the sink, turning on some hot water to scrub the plates.

The doorbell rang out.

"I've got it." Fiona shouted towards the kitchen.

Fiona had changed over the years. her hair had grown, and had a few bags under her eyes. Breaker had never noticed them before.

'I swear, if she's STILL crying over the incedent...' Breaker thought, not bothering to finish it, returning to her task. She remembered the first year without him. Fiona had sat up crying every night, she even remembered a few times where she would go into her Momma's room and sleep the night with her.

'Strange, I can't help but feel like something's gonna screw my life up in the next 5 seconds.' Breaker thought, a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach.

She would soon realize that she was right, for once again, her world, the one she had tried to fix since the night 5 years ago, a world that she recreated with just her and Fiona, would shatter.

Because behind the door, standing on their front door step, was none other than Scourge the Hedgehog.

Complete silence filled the moment.

Fiona was utterly confused, mixed emotions swirling inside her like a whirlpool, fear, sadness, and happiness.

Breaker just lost all thought, all feeling, but only one. The only feeling she had was hatred.

Hatred towards the one standing in the doorway.

"Hey..."

Scourge was attempting conversation.

He sighed, and began again.

"I know you gotta hate my guts, but I can expla-"

Scourge was stopped at the sound of shattering.

Breaker had dropped the plate she had been holding, shock still plastered on her face.

"Breaker!" Fiona shouted, beginning to move to her daughter, worried that she had been harmed.

"No."

Breaker said, shaking her head.

Her staring off into space look slowly morphing to a look of hatred.

"Hell no!"

"Breaker!" Fiona shouted in shock at the use of language she was using.

"Okay, Hell-HELL NO. HELL TO THE NO."

Breaker was beginning to grow madder, stepping away from the shattered plate and moving towards the doorway.

"I-I SWEAR. If you think you can barge in here and try asking for forgiveness, I'm kicking your ass to next Tuesday!"

"Breaker!"

"You really think you can come back here after 5 years of putting us through misery!? Do you not realize how life has been ever since you left?! I instantly became a problem child! You left her with me!" Breaker motioned to Fiona during the rant she was having. "You ditched us, leaving us with NOTHING, but the clothes on our backs and the roof over our heads! No money, no savings, nothing we could use to survive if anything went wrong! Momma's had to work tons of jobs! A day one and a night one! We've barely been able to survive these few years! And now of all times, just when we're almost about to lose our home, you come crawling to our doorstep, and ask for forgiveness! Do you know how many times she's had to come to school for meetings with the Principal over something I did because of you!?" Breaker was ready to pounce on him and give him a piece of her mind, but Fiona was doing her best to stop her.

"Breaker you need to stop!"

"Why should I!? I have good enough a reason to beat him to a bloody pulp!"

"Breaker you need to cool it!" Fiona shouted at her, shaking her by the shoulders.

"But Momma-"

"No!" Fiona said firmly, holding a hand up to Breaker's face.

Breaker just looked down, her hands balled into fists, shaking.

Fiona turned her head halfway to Scourge, not enough so he could see her eyes.

"You can sit down."

Breaker's head shot up at the words from Fiona's throat, staring at her mother's face.

Scourge moved to the couch, sitting on it.

Fiona closed the door, and led Breaker over to the opposite furniture from Scourge, making her sit down.

Breaker sat and immediatly turned away from Scourge, bringing her knees to her chest, and turning her head so she wouldn't have to stare at the man she used to call "Poppa"

"Okay, now that Breaker's calmed down, you can explain why you're here." Fiona said plainly, not looking up to Scourge's eyes.

"Okay. So after I left, I went to Rosy."

Fiona was shocked to hear this.

Rosy the Rascal hated Scourge inside and out, just how did he live a second without her slamming her mallet into his face?

"I was able to convince that I would change, and wouldn't do anything to upset her. Pretty easy to convince her."

"And let me guess? You impregnated her, and just when the kid was five years old and you ran?" Breaker spoke out, icicles dropping off her words.

"Breaker, let him finish." Fiona said, patting the girl's hair.

"Well, she's sorta correct. I did get Rosy pregnant, but like hell was I gonna leave. And she actually died recently, few months after Rocket's Fourth birthday."

"Rocket?" Fiona questioned.

"This little guy."

Fiona just noticed that Scourge was carrying something that was wrapped in his jacket. Scourge shifted the bundle, a small pink  green-tipped hedge-boy sleeping soundly showed out.

The small hedgehog's nose wrinkled, and he woke up from the sudden movement. His eye lids opened, showing off eyes similar to Rosy's.

"Daddy?" The small hedgehog yawned, pulling his arm out of the jacket to rub his eyes. "Where are we?" He began to question, starting to shift his eyes around and spotting the fox and hedgefox across from him. "Are they who you said we're gonna stay with?"

"WHOA WHOA WHOA." Breaker shouted. She turned her head to the small boy. "Who said anything about 'staying'? You both don't deserve to stay here! You both need to haul your asses outta here!"

"BREAKER!" Fiona shouted, about fed up with her attitude.

Rocket's ears drooped, tears starting to spring to his eyes from the shouting.

Scourge began to comfort him, doing his best to not let the boy cry.

Breaker turned her head to Scourge, pure hate shown in her eyes.

"You better take yourself and that runt and start walking through the door you ba-"

Breaker was stopped from finishing her sentence when Rocket began to speak.

"I'm not a runt!" He shouted, starting to take the jacket. "Take that back!" he demanded, staring at her dead-on.

Breaker glared at the pink hedgehog.

"Make me RUNT."

Rocket snapped, making the mallet that once belonged to Rosy appear out of thin air, he grabbed it and began to attack her.

"ROCKET! STOP!" Scourge attempted to pry the angry boy off Breaker, whom was also fighting back, punching Rocket as he was pounding her with his mallet.

Fiona and Scourge were soon able to seperate the two.

"BREAKER! I expect better of you!"

"But he started it!"Breaker shouted, pointing an accusing finger at Rocket.

"No, YOU started it!"Rocket shouted back, pointing a finger at her.

"You BOTH started it!" Both Fiona and Scourge shouted at the two, making them both be quiet.

Fiona sat Breaker on the couch and walked of to get a first aid kit.

Breaker stared down to the floor, refusing to make contact at the two hedgehogs across from her.

Fiona came back a moment later with said kit, opened it and began to tend to Breaker. Scourge began to do the same to Rocket. Once the two kids were bandaged up, Fiona began to talk.

"I'm very sorry about that. I KNOW she'd never try and harm a little boy like him" Fiona said, gesturing to Rocket, sitting in Scourge's lap.

"It's nothing. Sorta expected her to do that with me." Scourge chuckled for a brief moment.

"You're welcome to stay here as long as you need to."

Breaker stared in horror up to her mother, feeling betrayed when she said that.

"I don't know how to thank you."

"Just promise to help out around here if you need to stay for a long time."

Scourge smiled, promising.

Fiona went upstairs to show Scourge where he and Rocket could stay, leaving Breaker on the couch. Still in shock from what Fiona said.

'I can't believe she said that. Just HOW can she so blindly let him stay with us?!'

Breaker drew her knees up to her chest, the feeling of loneliness slowly consume her.

'Now I can trust no one.'

And once again, the world Breaker had, shattered once more.
Okay Coolblue you can stop waiting XD

Here we have the Third chapter! I know it's gotta be good since my back hurts *rubs back* XD

Pretty much the chapter advances 5 years into the future, where once again, Breaker's world is shattered :( poor girl, I can't give her a break XD

And Rocket is introduced! :w00t:

I plan to put up a picture of him, along with a picture of Breaker when she was 5 years old and before her Innocence was broken!

Wonder where Breaker's attitude and use of language comes from? XD

and as you can see, I finally learned how to use those HTML thingies! :dummy: I was just sitting and working on this when my Dad came in and said he had to use the computer, he noticed I was typing and the HTML tags, and he began to show me how to use them. I tried using them before with "Mission at Hang Castle" but it didn't work to well XD

It's very helpful to have a Dad who knows how to work computers XD

and a quick note, Mr.Roberson was actually a teacher from 6th grade! I remember him saying how he taught Preschoolers before and decided to use him for this!

Poor him.

He got kicked in the shin XD

So yeah.

Enjoy.
